Larson Electronics 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium Light with External Ballast - 130,000 Lumens

The MRL-1000HPS-EB from Larson Electronics is a High Pressure Sodium Light that produces 130,000 lumens of light output. This high pressure sodium (HPS) light is equipped with a remote external ballast along with 50` of STOOW cord between the light and ballast box and an additional 20` of cord between the ballast box and power source. By removing the ballast from the fixture and mounting it in the external NEMA enclosure, the weight of the fixture is reduced, making it easier to mount at height. HPS lights are ideal for use around water, fog, dust, smoke and other airborne impedients to visibility. This multi-purpose light is a popular flood light fixture, because of it`s durability, powerful light output and weatherproof construction. Thus, it is a common choice for industrial flood lighting, even when operating in non-hazardous location environments. Light Features: This high pressure sodium light fixture features a compact, rugged die-cast aluminum construction that combines architecturally beautiful design with rugged dependability, simple installation and maintenance. The housing is built from pressure-cast copper-free aluminum with an architectural bronze polyester finish. The lens door has the same bronze polyester finish and is built from pressure-cast copper-free aluminum that is secured with 1/4" diameter captive stainless steel slotted hex-head bolts. The MRL-1000HPS-EB is equipped with a thermal shock and impact resistant glass and features a heavy duty, high temperature, long life silicone rubber gasket. The MRL-1000HPS-EB high pressure sodium light fixture has a specification grade mogul base porcelain socket with heavy gauge brass, nickel-plated, double lamp-grip screw shell and spring-loaded center contacts. The double segment compound parabolic reflectors with Alzak¨ finish allow for maximum efficiency. Voltage: The MRL-1000HPS-EB operates on 120-277 V AC current.
