The resistance of the sending units increases or decreases with the changes in pressure and temperature. As the senders resistance varies, it allows the amount of current to flow through to the ground to change and the meter deflects and shows the temperature. The H20 GAUGE (F12904) is made with an anti-scratch glass lens that can withstand any marine environment.
