FUEL/WATER SEPARATING FILTER (118-78867) Sea Star Solutions. Sierra Fuel/Water Separating Fuel Filters are high-quality replacements for OEM filters. Fuel filters should be replaced every 50 hours or at least once a year, ideally during winterization. Sierra filters meet or exceed manufacturer specifications for filtration, water separation, and fuel flow, giving boaters and mechanics peace of mind. We recommend carrying spares on board in case of obstructions caused by contaminated fuel from the dock or debris and algae from the tank stirred up by rough seas.
