Eaton Fast opening valves
EatonÕs fast-opening valves open within 200 milliseconds after sensing a surge pressure. The hydraulically driven butterfly valve works in conjunction with pressure sensing pilot valve.
This value is designed to prevent surges in fuel conveyance, typically experienced in aerial refueling applications. The valve is designed to quickly dump that surge pressure safely from the tanker refueling system to a fuel tank.
