BLACK ASA SONIC COMPACT HORN-1 (3-431153-1) is one of many flow aids available for getting bulk solid materials flowing from vessels and ensuring complete discharge to avoid batch-to-batch contamination. It fluidizes and eliminates material buildup, it generates and amplifies high-intensity low-frequency sound waves. The sonic horn does not employ mechanical vibration, it does not condense or segregate material by particle size, and it is less likely to cause vessel failure than a mechanical vibrator that runs continually.

BLACK ASA SONIC COMPACT HORN-1 (3-431153-1) negative or positive wire can be attached to either side of these Sonic Mini Compact Horns because they have no polarity. A wiring template could be out of the mounting bracket. Horns should tip slightly downward when placed to allow for water drainage. This horn fulfills the US Coast Guard's COLREGS and ABYC standard A-23 for use on vessels under 12m (39') with a decibel rating of 108 and a frequency (Hz) of 44020A. ASA plastic is impact and UV resistant. 12 volts direct current.
