The Southwire 40140-001 is a 50A automatic transfer switch for 120/240V 60Hz systems, designed for RVs and boats. It switches to generator power after a 30-second delay when energized, with generator dominance when both sources are available, and returns to shore power after 3-4 seconds once the generator shuts down.
