Recessed housing for 2x8 remodel. Used in existing ceilings when there is no above ceiling access. Two-sided mounted torsion springs on the trim and 2 receiving brackets in the can ensure a consistently tight fit with the ceiling. Installation: 2x8 existing ceiling or T-bar ceiling panel installation. Clip adjustment on housing (up to 1-1/4") allows for flush mounting with ceiling face. Construction: Air-tight, aluminum foam-gasketed housing with three remodel clips for installation in existing plaser, sheet rock or mechanical ceilings. The L7XRLED features heavy-gauge galvanized steel raceway arm and a galvanized steel junction box with (4) built -in romex clamps, and (5) 1/2" knockouts with slots for pryout. Thermal protection provided against improper lamp usage.
