The pole shall consist of a one-piece base cover and a shaft. The base cover shall be circumferentially welded to the shaft. The base shall be round in shape. The castings shall be of uniform wall thickness with no warping or mold shifting and shall be formed true to the original pattern with complete detail. The shaft shall be made of cast aluminum with 10 flutes and shall taper from 4-3/4Ó at its bottom to 3-1/8Ó at the top with minimal wall thickness of 3/8Ó.
