The Canyon Series is a single phase, standby, solid-state inverter systemÊdesigned to provide Òsoft-startÓ power to designated emergency lightingÊfixtures. Each system consists of a self-contained inverter section with aÊfully automatic, temperature-compensating, variable-rate battery charger.ÊThe Canyon Series is designed to work with existing building electricalÊsystems to provide Pulse Width Modulated (PWM), sinusoidal, high qualityÊpower conditioning, backup power protection and distribution forÊlighting loads and other critical loads. Upon failure of the normal utilityÊpower, the Canyon Series automatically transfers to inverter modeÊand provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency power to theÊconnected load.
