The TPM-12-V2-GMP from Larson Electronics is a telescoping Golight pole with magnetic mounting plate to temporarily mount and raise Golight spotlights above a work site or other environment. The "magic" telescoping pole is constructed from lightweight and heavy-duty aluminum and features CNC machined precision parts. This telescoping aluminum pole automatically locks into place at any height as the operator raises it with no tools required. The telescoping Golight pole stands 3 feet tall when fully closed and can reach heights up to 8 feet when fully extended. The included magnetic mounting plate is a 6.5 inch square plate for permanent and magnetic mounting of Golight Remote Controlled SpotlightsPole Features: The TPM-12-V2-GMP can easily support weights of 100 pounds when fully extended which gives the pole the versatility to securely hold any model of Golight spotlight. Any Golight mounted on this aluminum telescoping pole will not become damaged thanks to the air cushioned chamber. The chamber provides a slow and controlled descent of the pole even with heavy equipment or lighting attached. Harsh drops cannot happen even if the operator accidentally lets go of the pole during the lowering process. The lowering process on this telescoping aluminum Golight pole with magnetic mounting plate is easy. The operator simply lifts up on the self-locking collar and allows the sections of pole to lower into the unit.The self-locking collar also enables the pole to be extended and remain in the desired position without ever tightening the collar. The magnetic mounting plate on top of the TPM-12-V2-GMP is ideal for temporarily mounting and deploying Golight spotlights. Once the job or task is finished, operators simply lower the pole, remove the Golight and pack up for transportation or storage. For vehicle installations, the only additional step is the removal of the pole from the vehicle mount before packing up and driving away. The convenient maximum height of the aluminum telescoping pole allows for mounted Golights to provide maximum area illumination. The TPM-12-V2-GMP also comes with a mounting bracket for the pole itself. The mounting bracket can be attached to a wall, trailer, boat cockpit or other flat surfaces. The pole itself can then be easily inserted into the bracket for operation of pole-mounted devices and then just as easily removed for storage and transportation. This adjustable mounting pole is ideal for boats as operators can mount this next to the console and elevate lights up to illuminate the boat and the surrounding area. By elevating the lights this high, they can eliminate casting and glare while better illuminating a larger area. Essentially, this adjustable pole provides the benefits of having a mast mounted light without actually having a mast. Once the lights are no longer needed, the pole can be collapsed down and the lights secured before getting underway. Similarly, these poles are ideal for attaching lights to trailers. Operators can park the trailer, extend the lights to their maximum height, and illuminate a large area around the trailer. Once finished with their use, the pole is simply collapsed and the Golights stowed for travel.
