Made in the USA Compliant The SPG3.24KW-19-120 Solar Power Generator from Larson Electronics is a towable power generation unit powered and charged by two-sixteen panel solar arrays. This unit offers 120VAC, 3.240 kilowatt max output, quiet standalone operation, and incorporates features designed to provide long life and economical operation. This 3.240 kilowatt solar powered generator recharges an included UG4-3AVR95-33 Unigy II battery rated at 2151Ah and provides 120 VAC for operating tools, lighting and other electrical equipment. Compared to an everyday diesel unit, this new solar panel can save the operator thousands in just a few months. Taking into consideration that an average diesel power generator unit costs approximately 6,000 dollars a month to run and maintain; the SPG3.24KW-19-120 Solar Power Generator could pay for itself in just a few short months by removing the need for refueling. This solar power generator is designed to provide 120 VAC power for a wide variety of applications and is ideal for the Larson Electronics range of 110-120V lighting products. Especially in situations such as entertainment events, work areas and other applications where the equipment must be placed close to the benefactors, the elimination of noise and fumes typically associated with diesel generators is a great benefit. Finally, solar power generators offer a low maintenance alternative to traditional diesel powered generators that often require a qualified diesel mechanic to maintain and/or repair them. This solar powered generator consists of a trailer, NEMA 4x rated enclosures, battery power supply, 24 VDC to 120 VAC inverter, solar panels, and supporting gear to feed current from the panels to the batteries. Generator: 24 Kyocera 135W high efficiency multi-crystal photovoltaic (PV) modules, designed in an array of eight module rows and grouped into (2) sixteen panel arrays. These solar panels are pre-wired for 24V operation. Controls: Morningstar 60A, 48V, charge controllers with temperature compensation and LVD. Batteries: UG4-3AVR95-33 Unigy II battery rated at 2151Ah wired for 24VDC. The battery section is vented with stainless steel screen over louvered vents to keep snow, insects, and dust out. Inverter: 5KW, 24VDC input, 120VAC output Exeltech inverter on 19” RU. Trailer: 19ft in length with treated wood floor, electric brakes, a spare tire, and standard pulling hitch. Each trailer is customized to accomodate the solar panel array and battery enclosure with controls and termination points. A set of system tie-downs are included for extra wind loading protection. NEMA 4x Components Enclosure: The SPG3.24KW-19-120 patent pending components enclosure is NEMA 4X rated and features a sealed electronics compartment and includeds a 19.5"H x 24.5"W gold anodized aluminum backplane on one side with a 19" rack on the other side. The solar controllers, DIN rail mounted circuit breakers and terminals for solar, battery, and 120VAC load are mounted on the aluminum backplane, offset from the enclosure wall for heat dissipation. This enclosure is constructed from 1/8" aluminum on the door, wrapped with 3/16" aluminum end caps, and finished with a highly reflective white powder coating which keeps the batteries cooler. Stainless steel hardware with lockable hasp latches and a copper grounding lug are included with the enclosure. A sealed bulkhead keeps gases and moisture from entering the electronics compartment.
