Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGL-208D-12KVA-240D-L15.30R Mobile Power Transformer System steps up 208V Delta electrical current to 240V Delta. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 120V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable spiderbox is suitable for outdoor applications. The MGL-208D-12KVA-240D-L15.30R also features a kick stand located on the back of the dolly cart for added stability and to prevent the system from being at risk of being knocked over or falling down. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The MGL-208D-12KVA-240D-L15.30R temporary power distribution system provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in work areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 208V Delta which it then steps up to 240 V Delta. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 240VAC available via one L15-20 receptacle. Operation: Twenty feet of 10/4 SOOW line in power cord terminated in a blunt cut is included to connect the transformer to a primary 208V Delta primary power supply. A 60-amp 208V disconnect fused at 40 amps protects the 12.77kVA NEMA 3R transformer as well as the L15-30 receptacle. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. For even more stability, the MGL-208D-12KVA-240D-L15.30R features a rear-mounted kick stand that can easily be deployed when the unit is in the desired position. This kick stand increases the stability of this unit so that the risk of it being knocked over or falling down are almost completely eliminated. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
