Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPF-30P Explosion Proof Ventilator Fan / Blower with 25 foot static conductive duct safely and effectively redirects stale air from hazardous location areas. This explosion proof blower is unique due to it is certification for all groups including groups A and B where only air driven blowers are normally certified for these groups. The EPF-30P Explosion Proof Ventilator Fan / Blower is designed for confined spaces that require a powerful ventilator that meets strict hazardous space standards. This explosion proof fan/blower delivers high-performance with uncompromising safety and is UL and C-UL listed for use in Class I, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II, Groups E, F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This fan is pneumatically powered, meaning this fan does not operate on electricity and requires a compressor to operate. This unit can be used indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces. Instead of being driven by an electrically powered motor, this fan connects to a compressor and operates on pressurized air. This unit has a 3/8 connecting port for standard compressor lines and requires a compressor capable of producing a steady 38 CFM flow at 100 PSI. This intrinsically safe unit is incapable of sparking and features a fully enclosed high performance motor and 25 feet of static conductive duct for effective and efficient routing and movement of airflow. Hazardous location areas require this fan to have a static conductive duct (12 inches X 25 feet) which is included in this package. The duct consists of a single-ply polyester reinforced PVC vinyl fabric hose with an extrernal wearstrip reinforced with a spring steel wire helix. It is lightweight for blower applications and highly compressible. The retractability of the static conductive duct allows for convenient storage and easy transport in a fraction of its fully extended length and has low friction loss. The wearstrip offers external abrasion resistance, and is listed as YL 94 V-0 flame retardant. Ambient operating temperatures for this unit range from -20 degrees to 180 degrees Farenheit.
