The Larson Electronics GAU-KFA-PH-80K-TST Industrial Forced Air Heater is a powerful heating unit for indoor facilities. This kerosene/diesel unit provides 240 CFM of air flow and 80,000 BTUs. Equipped with a 5-gallon fuel tank, the portable heater comes with real-time gauges, a carrying handle and 6" power cord with an extension cord wrap. The GAU-KFA-PH-80K-TST is a forced air heater for indoor locations. Capable of heating spaces up to 2,000 square feet, the unit operates on 120V AC 60 Hz. This compact heater offers 80,000 BTUs and 240 CFM during use. Operators are provided access to a 5 gallon tank and air pressure, fuel and thermostat gauges for real-time monitoring. This unit consumes kerosene/diesel (CSA certified to run on #1 & 2 Diesel Fuel, JP8/Jet A Fuel and #1 & 2 Fuel Oil) at a rate of .63 gallons per hour and is capable of a maximum runtime of 9 hours @ full tank. Safety features include the following: high temperature shut off, flame out fuel cut and thermocouple. Indoor Use: This kerosene heater can be used inside well-ventilated indoor facilities, including warehouses, large office spaces, open-air stadiums and activity centers (the unit should not be used in unattended rooms and tight spaces, such as bedrooms and storage rooms). Proper ventilation could be an open door, slightly open window or any opening that promotes air circulation in the area. This safety measure ensures carbon monoxide does not build up in the room. Individuals may also install a carbon monoxide detector to further decrease such risks during use. To prevent accidental contact or tipping over the heater, avoid placing the unit along common pathways and near furniture or equipment that may burn easily, including curtains. When refueling the kerosene heater, individuals should first turn the unit off. Always allow the heater to cool down fully (if its not at room temperature); and only refuel the tank outside. Avoid overfilling the tank. Wiring: The GAU-KFA-PH-80K-TST comes with a 6" power cord for completing electrical connections and an extension cord wrap.
