The AML-LED-WP40-M LED Mechanics` Work Light offers high light output from a compact form factor and is designed to provide a more durable and long lived alternative to halogen units. This LED light includes a 200lb grip magnetic base which allows the unit to be mounted to metallic surfaces such as hoods, frame rails, or tool boxes. This 40 watt LED light produces illumination comparable to a 250 watt metal halide unit without the high heat, fragile construction, or high energy costs of incandescent lighting. This unit can be powered directly from a 120 volt AC source and includes a 12` SOOW cord terminated in a 5-15 straight blade plug. The AML-LED-WP40-M LED Mechanics` light from Larson Electronics produces a long flood beam of light while drawing only 40 watts @.45 amps at 120 VAC. The light assembly consists of twelve 3.3 watt LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce light output comparable to that of a 250 watt metal halide. The beam will illuminate an area nearly twice the distance as a standard 250W metal halide flood light, but is 30% narrower than the metal halide flood. With the significantly lower heat production compared to incandescent, halogen, and metal halide lamps, this LED work light is suitable for working within close range of the light without risking burns. Mounting hardware for the AML-LED-WP40-M consists of a stainless steel black coated bracket that allows vertical adjustability and a 200lbs grip magnetic base. The magnetic base will hold this LED light securely in place even if mounted on walls or overhead, and is strong enough to withstand the vibrations of running equipment. This unit is designed to operate with voltages ranging from 110 VAC to 270 VAC, providing versatile power connection options and the ability to run the unit with commonly encountered 120-220 VAC voltages.
