Made in the USAThe Larson Electronics HAL-EMG-48-2L-SBM Hazardous Area Fluorescent Light Fixture is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D - NRTL Certified to UL 1598A listed, has a T4A temperature rating and ideal for hazardous locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors may be occassionally encountered.The HAL-48-2L fixture is a 4 foot long, 2 lamp, Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous area fluorescent light and a good choice for use in applications where space is at a premium. This fixture is T4A temperature rated, comes standard with F54-T5/850/HO bulbs.The lamps are protected by an aluminum framed shatter and heat resistant clear acrylic lens secured with ten draw latches and the fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy. The lamp reflector is corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a high gloss reflective finish. This fixture is multi-voltage capable and is NRTL Certified to U.L. 595 and UL 1598A Marine Type approved for use marine environments. The main difference is that we attach an extra Bodine ballast box to the unit that adds emergency light functionality to the fixture. This explosion proof emergency light will run the standard 90 minutes after power is lost. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency ballast that will run a single lamp at 900 lumens for 90 minutes. For an additional charge, a second ballast can be added to run a second lamp for 1800 total lumens output for 90 minutes. The battery backup unit includes a switched leg for turning the light fixture on/off without kicking the unit into emergency mode.NOTE ON LAMPS: This fixture comes equipped with F54-T5/850/HO – 54 Watt lamps producing 5,000 lumens per bulb, a 5000 Kelvin color and a 20,000 hour rated service life.Suggested Applications:Aircraft maintenance, Oil drilling rigs, Refineries, Solvent and cleaning areas, Chemical manufacturing, Waste treatment plants, Gas processing plants.Made in USA Quality Lamp Options1.
