The HID-4X1000W-SL-REM 4000 Watt Metal Halide Light package from Larson Electronics provides operators with the intensity and good color rendering of a metal halide lamps in a unit that is safe for ground mounting and use in wet areas. The unit comes standard with a remote ballast, this means that the HID package can be mounted at a different location than it`s ballast. The HID-4X1000W-SL-REM 4000 watt metal halide light package produces exceptional illumination using two 19” aluminum reflector housings that spreads a powerful flood pattern of high quality light over large areas. This fixture is equipped with four 1000 watt metal halide lamps, which produces the intense 110,000 lumen illumination and good color rendering normally associated with these lamps. The metal halide lamps are secured within a separate die cast housing for strength and durability while a clear tempered glass lens provides protection for the lamp. The unit is standard with a remote ballast that can be mounted up to 24 feet from the HID unit (wired). U.L. wet area certification and the high power flood beam produced by this lamp makes it ideal for applications requiring illumination of large scale areas that may be subject to wet conditions. The 19” reflectors on this lamp is constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is hinged onto the reflector and secured into place with a four point latching system. The lamp socket is die cast aluminum and separate from the reflector for added durability. The two reflector and lamp socket assemblies are secured together to a study backboard as one unit, which makes installation simple and straightforward. Vertical and horizontal aiming guides are included in this lamp`s design which makes aiming this lamp during operation easier and safer, protecting users from the potential burns associated with handling operating metal halide lamp fixtures. A stainless steel hinge provides durable adjustability and corrosion resistance. This lamp comes prewired with a twenty foot cord and is U.L. rated for wet areas and ground mounting.
