This WDL-12-70W-LED-SFC-WCM Wash Down LED Fixture offers 3,126 lumens of crisp white light with a CRI of 80 and a color temperature of 5000K. ­This NSF rated unit contains impact and shock resistant, no-glass polycarbonate LED bulbs, and sealed and corrosion resistant aluminum hardware, providing reliable, stable lighting under even the harshest of conditions in food processing and preparation applications. This 22-watt LED light operates on 120-277V AC @ 50/60 Hz, and features a dimmable electronic driver and IP66 waterproof protection. The WDL-12-70W-LED-SFC-WCM linear wash down light is an NSF rated, food safe fixture, and a direct replacement for 70 watt metal halide or pressure sodium lights. This 22 watt LED light fixture is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use and is approved for wet locations including high pressure hose down areas. This cast aluminum LED fixture is NSF certified food equipment and operates on voltages ranging from 120-277V AC at 50/60Hz. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with the advanced dimmable LED driver technology helps this fixture achieve an excellent rated lifespan and lumen retention. The housing on this LED unit is made of heavy-duty, corrosion resistant, die cast aluminum with a powder coat finish over a chromate conversion coating for a more durable option than metal halide units. Instead of using a fragile glass bulbs, as with traditional fixtures, this light is equipped with tough, shatter resistant LEDs sealed in an unbreakable polycarbonate lens, making this wash down light ideal for food preparation applications. Just 4” in depth, this self-contained wash down light is low profile, and provides instant full power illumination, projecting stable, no-flicker beam from a durable solid-state lighting source. This rugged hose down light is IP66 rated, able to withstand the powerful high-pressure jets used regularly during food preparation and sanitation operation, and is built to operate in extreme temperatures between -40¡C to +50¡C. LED Drivers: Even in LED fixtures, heat is the single largest factor in premature light failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs in order to reduce the amount of heat produced. Rather than lower light output or quality, Larson Electronics addresses this problem with the addition of an electronic LED driver. This internal driver provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. This not only reduces the energy dissipation, effectively lowering the operating temperature of the fixture, but also prevents AC over-voltage and short circuit loading making this fixture virtually maintenance free. Because the electronic driver allows the WDL-12-70W-LED-SFC-WCM to run at a cooler internal temperature and regulates the electrical current, energy efficiency and LED service hours are maximized while at the same time reducing operating costs and downtime incurred from the frequent servicing intervals required with other hotter running lights.
