The WCDE-4X15M-20KW-220V-MKL-CPR mobile hydraulic light tower from Larson Electronics is a towable lighting package powered by a 20 kW 1800 RPM generator. With six 1,500 watt metal halide lamps producing 900,000 lumens, this unit will illuminate a 8-9 acre area continuously without refueling for 19+ hours. A Deepsea controller is available for monitoring the real-time status of the IP23-rated unit, as well as a multitude of safety features including but not limited to: voltmeter, ammeter, high/low speed protection, low fuel level projection and gage, hour meter and an emergency engine stop button. This light tower is ideal for tough remote locations and can withstand rough terrain. Operation and maintenance manuals included. The WCDE-4X15M-20KW-220V-MKL-CPR mobile hydraulic light tower is a metal halide lighting solution for rough outdoor, remote locations. This unit is supported by a 4-cycle, water cooled, direct injection, natural intake Perkins/404D-22G engine (diesel), which supplies the current to six 1,500 watt metal halide lamps producing 150,000 lumens each for a combined total of 900,000 lumens of light. The light mast can provide 19+ hours of continuous illumination, at extended heights up to 25 feet. This mobile floodlight package is ideal for emergency services, large scale event illumination, construction, mining, industrial operations and anywhere an extended operation capable mobile lighting solution is needed. Test procedures and COC included. With engine speeds of 1,800 rpm, the four-cylinder unit is capable of generating 22 kW on standby and 20 kW during prime use. As a low-rpm generator, it operates quieter than 3,600 rpm "throw-away" models. Because 3,600 rpm generators have higher speeds, the units wear out faster and require less copper during operation. The WCDE-4X15M-20KW-220V-MKL-CPR is designed to support 220V 50 Hz. It features three-phase 220V at 48.11 amps, as well as five power outputs and an ATS plug. This unit has a fast disconnect system for the generator battery and will automatically shut down in the event of an abnormal condition related to water temperature, engine oil pressure, low coolant, low DEF, over-speed and over-crank. An emergency stop switch allows operators to manually shut down the system. This unit also includes a voltmeter, ammeter, a digital display for controllers, high/low speed protection, projection for low fuel levels, a main circuit protector for electronics and an individual circuit breaker and on/off switch per lamp. Also featured is an hour meter and fuel level gage. Lights: The lighting system on this unit is comprised of six 1,500 watt metal halide lamps producing 150,000 lumens of light each attached to the end of the telescoping light boom. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating a minimum of 8 acres with a combined total of 900,000 lumens of light. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. These light heads can be electrically tilted from the base of the tower providing operators with directional versatility. Controls: A DSE3110 Deepsea controller provides operators with a wide viewing panel and robust monitoring of the brushless generator. The system displays frequency, battery voltage, runtime and more. A protective feature notifies operators about low oil pressure, high water temperature, over/under voltage and over/under speed. The controller can be used in manual or auto start mode. Configurable timers and alarms provide flexibility and real-time monitoring of the system. Telescoping Boom: The telescoping hydraulic tower on this unit reaches 25.5` when fully extended and folds to a compact 4.5` for storage and transport. Hydraulic operation allows operators to easily raise, lower, or rotate the mast through a full 359¡ of movement as needed. A stepping pad allows operators to make adjustments from the ground with ease. The light heads are trunnion mounted to the mast crosspieces using U brackets and can be individually adjusted while the tower is in the retracted position. The telescoping boom is constructed of aluminum to resist rusting and corrosion and is capable of withstanding 50 mph winds when extended to its full height and the stabilizing outriggers are deployed. The 4-foot stabilizing outriggers are a four-point design with one located under the trailer tongue, two on the sides and one on the back of the unit. The two side outriggers are adjustable and include 2,000 lbs swivel jacks for leveling and stabilizing the tower. Housing: The All of the operating components are housed within a protective compartment constructed of 14 gauge steel with a powder-coated finish, and designed to provide airflow for cooling. Docking doors enclose the unit and provide access to the interior while latches provide secure closing when the unit is in use. The design and construction of this enclosure helps this unit operate at a low 65 Db noise level @ 23 ft. The entire unit can be loaded and unloaded onto trucks via forklift sleeves mounted to the top section of the light mast. Additionally, there is a central located pickeye for crane loading. The entire unit is mounted onto a towable two-wheel trailer with a single 2,200 lbs leaf spring axle. The suspension is tough and suitable for rough and uneven terrain so you can take this unit anywhere. The Pintle style hook eyelet tow hitch is self-rotating and height adjustable, and includes a handle for attaching to the towing vehicle and a standard two inch ball coupling with two standard safety chains that allow for easy hookup and towing.
