The TPM-2XWP60E-25C from Larson Electronics is an Industrial LED Light with Telescoping Pole that offers high light output from a compact form factor, and is designed to provide a more durable and long lived alternative to halogen and metal halide units. This powerful, telescoping LED light produces 10,800 lumens, operates on 120 to 277V AC, features a telescoping pole that is adjustable from 3 to 8.5 feet, and includes a mounting plate with four predrilled holes for easy mounting on flat surfaces. The TPM-2XWP60E-25C is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is IP68 waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment. The two included LED lights are 60 watts each and produce a long flood beam of light while drawing only 1 total amp at 120 VAC. Each light assembly consists of six LEDs each, paired with high purity specular optics to produce a wide light distribution overpowering that of a two 500-watt quartz flood lights. These lights are constructed of three angled boards that helps provide a wider spread. Instead of the light only shining forward, the center boards are concentrated to go straight out while the boards on the side are 45¡ offset. Durability: Each LED lamp consists of six LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assemblies are protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provides a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out this unit`s weather resistant construction. An optional glare shield for each lamp is shipped with this unit. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. High Output LEDs: The LEDs in this unit are Cree units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide 90 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 50,000 rated lifespan, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources. These lights are equipped with high purity optics and available in a long beam 60¡ flood configuration for wide area coverage. Utilizing a polycarbonate lens, this fixture produces a higher light output than similar fixtures equipped with thicker glass lenses. The TPM-2XWP60E-25C has is offered in 5,600K cool white with a color rendering index of 80. Mounting: The TPM-2XWP60E-25C features a telescoping pole that is adjustable from 3 to 8.5 feet. The telescoping pole features a mounting plate that has four predrilled holes for easy mounting to flat surfaces. This pole features a pneumatic braking system that prevents unexpected or sudden collapse of the pole. If the pole is loaded with a pair of heavy fixtures for instance and the operator inadvertently releases the locking tabs, the pole will simple ease down gently rather than suddenly collapse.
