Made in the USA The Larson Electronics DPG-11KW-LPBC-LH portable generator is a fuel type unit with a powerful 3,600 rpm, two-cylinder diesel engine. It can produce 6,500 watts and supports 120/240V at 60 Hz. This generator boasts a low profile and compact design for seamless transportability. Features: Under the hood, this genset is powered by a Kubota vertical, liquid-cooled four-cycle diesel engine (direct coupled). With engine speeds of 3,600 rpm, the two-cylinder unit is capable of generating 11 kW on standby and 10 kW during prime use. It features a 12V DC electric starting system and can hold up to 28 gallons of fuel. At full load, this unit consumes 1.09 gallons of fuel per hour, which equates to a runtime of 25 hours at full load. It also comes with an emergency stop system that is activated during abnormal levels of oil pressure and water temperature. The rotating field AC generator is designed to support 120/240V 60Hz. It features single-phase 120V at 41.7 amps (2x) and single-phase 240V at 41.7 amps, as well as five receptacles (GFCI 5-20RA, L5-30R, L6-30R and CS-6369). Each receptacle supports circuit protector mechanisms that shuts down the engine to prevent overcurrent damage. There is also a safety relay that stops the starter from engaging after starting the engine. A swing-up side panel offers easy accessibility to the engine for inspection and maintenance. For safety during operation, the engine is designed to stop immediately when the output connection cover is opened. This generator comes with several noise-reduction features that can streamline its application in demanding work sites. With a full load and at a distance of 23 feet, the unit emits 68 dbA of sound, which is equivalent to the noise level of a compact hair dryer. For easy transportation, the generator is bolted down on a 4-wheel pull-around cart constructed of heavy duty steel and powder coated for corrosion resistance. Equipped with a 3” Lunette/Pintle hitch and 180-degree pivot system, operators may navigate around obstructions and tight passageways with ease. This portable generator is equipped with four 1000lb retractable outriggers for stability during deployment, and leveling the unit on uneven ground.
