The SPL-1.59K-TMPK from Larson Electronics is a Solar Panel Kit that can be bolted on trailers and other stable surfaces for maximum exposure to sunlight. This unit consists of six, 265-watt polycrystalline solar panels on a sturdy frame assembly. Operators may tilt, rotate, extend or collapse the panels for robust control when optimizing positions during harvesting/charging, storage or transportation. This Solar Panel Kit features one of the main components that define solar powered systems. The unit is comprised of six, 265-watt polycrystalline solar panels, generating a total maximum output of 1,590 watts, and is mounted to a rotating axis assembly. The frame assembly is constructed of steel with an industrial-grade coating for added durability.This unit can be rotated until it faces inwards, which protects the panel during transport. When deployed, the panel is rotated until it faces upwards. In order to optimize sun capture, the panel can be set to +/- 15 degrees of the latitude of location on Earth. Houston, Texas, for example, is at a latitude of 30 degrees, so the winter setting is 45 degrees and the summer setting would be 15 degrees. While this does not make a huge difference, every little bit helps.
